The UK Defence Ministry on Tuesday shared estimates further bolstering the idea that the end of 2024 was the costliest period of the war for Russian troops fighting Ukraine.
Citing figures provided by Ukraine's military, the ministry on Tuesday said Russian troop losses had increased for six straight months, with average daily losses increasing for the past five months.
