Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar would reportedly prefer a summer move to Barcelona than to the Premier League in a potential blow for Liverpool and Arsenal.
According to Steve Bates of the Sunday Mirror, the French international is said to have made it known the Camp Nou is his favoured destination in the summer should he leave the Ligue 1 club.
"Despite paying £145 million for Kop star Philippe Coutinho Barcelona have Lemar on their wish list and see him as one of the best emerging talents in Europe," Bates continued. "And as they rebuild after losing Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain Lemar is hoping Barcelona hand him a dream move this summer."
As noted in the report, both Arsenal and Liverpool have been strongly linked with a possible swoop for Lemar, who has previously been valued at an eye-watering £90 million.
